36 WEEKS: Can this belly get any bigger?? At the stage where I feel I may pop after eating a meal, and even sitting in a chair has become problematic unless I'm turned to the left side. Enter the inflatable birthing ball, which I've recently discovered is a bit more comfy to sit and rock on (and is supposed to help baby get into position better as well). Still feeling fantastic overall though. Baby is head down but has not "dropped" as of yet...really hoping he'll drop soon to give me a sign he's almost ready!

Weight gain = 29 lbs. (159 lbs.)

Feeling pretty great, except for incurable insomnia...thus I'm a lil tired in this photo. The bump is growing exponentially. Simple things like sitting straight up in a chair have become challenging, and I find myself with the constant tendency to just lay down on my side anytime I have the chance. Had to buy a few new extra large workout shirts just to get me through next few weeks, but luckily I'm still able to sport my non-maternity cotton maxi dresses.

Weight gain = 24 lbs. (154 lbs)

Welcome 3rd trimester. We are in the final 12 week stretch! Coolest thing recently is watching Preston move from the outside of my belly. It's like a strange mix of having an alien and also the person closest to me in the entire world with me at all times...if that makes any sense whatsoever. Alien or not, I'm loving every little kick and jab.

Weight gain = 20 lbs. (150 lbs.)

24 WEEKS: Have lovingly renamed our child Wiggleworm (a.k.a. The Wiggler. ) Boy does not stop moving, and I love every last jab and kick. Uterus is the size of a soccer ball, and baby is the size of a cantaloupe. Figured I'd take the opportunity to make a "before and after." Ha! Yes, I am brave wearing a swimsuit right now, but this is just too funny not to share...

20 WEEKS (Half-Way): Biggest changes yet happening. Feeling small kicks daily. Even though they are just light little taps, I did feel kicks on my hand from the outside once already. Pretty exciting! Have a banana sized baby in there currently (10 in. head to toe).

Weight gain = 13 lbs. (143 lbs.)

So funny how this bump is barely noticeable in some shirts, but totally unmistakable in others. Supposedly my uterus is the size of a grapefruit by now, and there is 1/2 lb. of amniotic fluid surrounding an avocado sized baby in there.

This looks bigger than a grapefruit to me! I'm turning into quite the hoglet!

Weight Gain = 7 lbs. (137 lbs.)

Didn't think I really had any noticeable bumpage yet, until I stood in the mirror and stopped sucking it in. Realized I have a habit of walking around with my abs tightened 100% of the time...should probably quit doing that and give this baby some room to breathe!

Weight Gain = 3 lbs. (133 lbs.)
